Transmission electron microscope

Category:

Description:

Translucent (transmission) electronic microscope - a device for obtaining an image using an electron beam passing through a sample. It differs from other types of electron microscopes by the fact that the electron beam is shifting the sample, the inhomogeneous absorption of the electrons with different parts of the sample gives a two-dimensional pattern of the distribution of the density of the transmitted electron flux. The sample most often is a ultra-thin slice with a thickness of less than 100 nm. or suspension on the grid.
