Description:

This model demonstrates the structure of satellite television. Satellite television is television broadcasting transmitted to viewers through communications satellites orbiting the Earth. Signals are received through an outdoor parabolic antenna, commonly called a satellite dish, and a low noise downconverter. The satellite receiver then decodes the desired TV program for viewing on the TV. Receivers can be external set-top boxes or built-in TV tuner.
