Placenta

The placenta is an embryonic organ that provides metabolism between mother and fruit. The mammalian placenta is formed from the germinal shells of the fetus, which are tightly adjacent to the wall of the uterus, and establish a close relationship between the embryo and the mother's organism, which serves to feed and breathing the embryo. The placenta is permeable for low molecular weight substances and some proteins.
