Mengovirus

This model demonstrates the structure of the Mengo virus. Mengovirus, or encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV), belongs to the genus Cardiovirus. Mengovirus was isolated by George Dick in 1948 in the Mengo region in a monkey that developed paralysis of the hind limbs.
