The structure of mitochondria
Biology
This model allows you to explore the structure of mitochondria. Mitochondria is organelles with a bacterium size, about 1 × 2 micrometers, which in large quantities are detected in almost all eukaryotic cells. Typically, the cell accounts for about 2,000 mitochondria, which is about 25% of the cell volume. The most important function of mitochondria is the production of energy.
