Sulfuric acid molecule
Chemistry
This model illustrates the structure of the sulfuric acid molecule. Sulfuric acid (Н 2 SO 4 ) is one of the most corrosive acids and dangerous reagents. A sulfuric acid molecule is made up of two hydrogen atoms, one sulfur atom, and four oxygen atoms. In a molecule, sulfuric acid is tetrahedrally surrounded by four oxygen atoms, two of which are part of the hydroxyl groups, and the other two are connected to the sulfur double bond. All bonds in a molecule are covalent.
