Staphylococcus epidermidis

This model demonstrates the structure of the staphylococcal epidermis. Staphylococci are immobile gram-positive facultative aerobic cocci. Some staphylococci synthesize characteristic pigments. They are widely distributed in soil, air, representatives of normal skin microflora of humans and animals.
