Human egg cell

This model demonstrates the structure of the egg. The ovum is a female gamete that has a haploid set of chromosomes. Compared to the sperm, it is large and immobile. After fertilization with a sperm, a zygote is formed, all organelles and cytoplasm of which were taken from the egg.
