Equipment for ultrasound therapy
Physics
Ultrasound therapy (abbreviated UTA) is treatment with a modern apparatus radiating ultrasonic waves of different frequency. They cause compression and tensile tissues, thereby stimulating the rehabilitation processes. The lower frequency limit is used to treat deeply located tissues, and the upper frequency limit is for inflamed tissues located closer to the skin surface. Adjusting the frequency, the specialist concentrates ultrasound impact on problem areas, avoiding interaction with healthy organs and tissues.
